Integer Project - 7th GradeStudents had a chance to use their creative side to create a project that would show their knowledge of operations of integers. Watch Integer Rap to learn about operations with integers.
April-MayThis is MAP and M-STEP testing window. All students are being tested to evaluate their progress from the beginning for the year and from the last year, respectively.
In between testing students are finishing their math studies. Seventh grade students are introduced to linear equations with focus on applied math. While eight grade students are starting geometry studies with focus on triangle congruence and transformations. Algebra 1 students are finishing math studies with focus on polynomials and quadratic functions. MarchSeventh graders are finishing probability unit and are reviewing statistics skills.
Eight graders are continuing system of equations and are reviewing calculations with angles and triangles. FebruaryAll students are working with exponents. Seventh graders are exploring probability. Eight grade students are learning about inequalities.
Project Students are designing an apple orchard and need to graph, calculate area and perimeter, write a report, and reflect on their learning experience. Math seminar happens every Friday. JanuarySeventh graders are learning about proportions.
